Biography
I have worked in research for 20 years, held tenured positions, and research appointments in Australia and the US. I was Deputy Director of the Global Terrorism Research Centre and Member at the Australian Homeland Security Research Centre. I have conducted major research projects in the counterterrorism sector. My book, Witnesses to Terror (Palgrave Macmillan, 2012), is a widely cited account of the social impacts of the threat of terrorism.
